EXTRAIT DU COMMUNIQUÉ DE PRESSE

Artists have long been exploring the complex interrelationship between humans and their environment, as well as the profound and often irreversible changes to our planet. The artists featured in TOUCH NATURE take a stand against the devastating political, economic, ecological, and humanitarian impact of the Anthropocene.

This exhibition brings Austrian and Austrian-based artists into dialogue with their UK counterparts. To this end, we have invited UK-based artists Claire Morgan, Jasmina Cibic and Dafna Talmor to contribute their work alongside more than fifteen artistic positions from Austria, including work by Alexandra Kontriner, Alfred Hruschka, Annika Eschmann, Claire Morgan, Dafna Talmor, Donya Aalipour, Elena Kristofor, Elisabeth von Samsonsow, Jasmina Cibic, Judith Wagner, Lea Liebl, Maria Belova, Maren Jeleff /Klaus Pichler, Margot Pilz, Michael Endlicher, Monica Pichler, Monica LoCascio and Oliver Ressler.

Since 2021, this international multimedia exhibition series, curated by Dr Sabine Fellner, has travelled to fourteen Austrian Cultural Forums around the world, including locations in Berlin, Budapest, Istanbul, Rome, and New York, as well as being shown in a comprehensive presentation at the Lentos Kunstmuseum in Linz, Upper Austria.
