Gideon Rubin in conversation with Anahita Vessier and Dr. Nady Mirian

The conversation takes place in the course of the exhibition opening of Gideon Rubin "Looking Away" at Galerie Karsten Greve Cologne.
Anahita Vessier is an art consultant, art advisor, curator and founder of the art platform Anahita's Eye. She is also actively promoting the contemporary Iranian art scene through exhibitions and at art fairs ("Tehran Now ", Asia Now 2021, Paris, "Merging Horizons" Cromwell Place, London, etc.). Additionally, she develops dialogues and projects between artists and luxury brands (Guerlain, Hermès, Dior, etc.) in the form of exhibitions, installations and limited editions. At the same time, Anahita Vessier is the project director of Les Lauréats de l'Intelligence de la main®, a community of more than 120 talents of artists, artisans, designers, cultural institutions spread all over France and representing more than 50 artisan professions. With the support of the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation (founding and main sponsor of the association), it develops projects to promote French savoir-faire, build interdisciplinary collaborations and bridges with research actors, strengthen links with national and international markets.
Dr. Nady Mirian has been teaching as a lecturer at the University of Cologne since 2016 with a focus on the history of discourse (especially the history of psychiatry), resilience of marginalized groups as well as (cyber)bullying in social discourse (sociocultural causes). She is also a psychotherapist for children and adolescents with a clinical focus on depression, anxiety disorders and schizophrenia in adolescence.
